Breanna VanHorn

Breanna Malynn VanHorn, age 23, of St. Louis, MI, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 30, 2020.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI.

Breanna was born in Alma, MI on June 3, 1997, the daughter of Gerry Jr. and Karren (Loomis) VanHorn.  Breanna graduated in 2015 from Fulton Schools.

Breanna was a member of the Faith Life Christian Center in Alma, where she was actively involved of the media crew; photographing and filming church events.  Her passion for the arts also reflects through the numerous paintings and drawings she has done over the years.  Breanna enjoyed reading and going to the gym with her cousin Rebecca McCann.  She was a loving Titi to her nieces and nephews and she enjoyed spending time with them.  From a troubled teen to a kind and compassionate woman, Breanna would go the extra mile for others in need.  She was truly a gift to all who knew her.

She is survived by her mother Karren Loomis (Carlton Johnson) of St. Louis, father Gerry VanHorn Jr. of St. Louis, siblings: Cynthia Lou Heath of Taylor, MI, Michael and Alexa VanHorn of Alpena, MI, Joshua (Veronica) VanHorn of Taylor, MI,  Ambrea VanHorn of Alma, MI, Cameron and Courtney VanHorn of Dearborn, MI, Mackenzie and Bonifacio VanHorn-Lopez of St. Louis, nieces and nephews: Quanzel, Mariah, Bradynn, Bentlee, Analeigh, Leighana, Mialee, Emilio, and Eliana, grandfather Gerry and Ruth VanHorn Sr. of Flat Rock, MI, and grandmother Joan Ivey of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by many loving cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents: Vickie "Grandma Butter" and Ernie Mills, Roy Ivey, Joyce and Robert "Burr" Barton, Diana VanHorn, Henry and Estella Deline, Francis and Rose VanHorn and her aunt Patricia Smith.
