Brianna Heeney

Brianna Nicole Heeney age 15 of Elsie, Michigan died Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Cyril's Catholic Church Bannister, MI on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Fr. Wolfgang Streichardt will officiate with burial at Mt. Rest Cemetery St. Johns, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2006 from 6-8 P.M. and Friday, July 28, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Rosary will be prayed on Friday evening at 6:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.

Brianna was born in Lansing, Michigan on March 11, 1991 the daughter of Scott Lee and Alicia Ann ( McCoy ) Heeney. She resided all of her life in the Elsie area and attended Ovid-Elsie High School. Brianna was a student who was on the honor roll and a member of the County Reniassance Club. She was a J.V. Cheerleader both as sideline and competative, a dancer at the Bohaty School of Dance in St. Johns, and a Grade 1 Cecchetti Point Dancer. Brianna did several talent shows and she was the Opening Amateur act for the Chesaning Showboat. She was awarded the Principal Award and the Peace Maker Award in elementary school and she was a Altar Server at St. Cyril's Catholic Church.

She is survived by mother Alicia Heeney of Elsie, MI, 2 brothers Ryan and Dylan Heeney of Elsie, MI, sister Shaila Heeney of Elsie, MI, grandparents: Linda McCoy of St. Johns, MI, Paul & Barb Heeney of St. Johns, MI, aunt Michelle McCoy, uncle Jeff McCoy, uncle Paul Heeney, uncle Jeff Heeney, 5 cousins Jeffery & Justin Heeney, Alyssa & Mitchal & Savanna McCoy, as well as a large extended family. She is predeceased by her father Scott, grandfather Roger McCoy and great grandparents.

Memorials may be made to to the family. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
