Bruce Pierce

Bruce Robert Pierce age 84, of Ovid, MI, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Hospice House of Shiawassee County in Owosso surrounded by his family. This very special and funny man went home to be with his Lord and Savior.

Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 1:00-4:00 P.M. at Middlebury Methodist Church, 8100 West Hibbard Road, Ovid, MI 48866.

Bruce was born at home in Bath, MI on September 7, 1934, the son of Robert and Bethel (Tihart) Pierce. He graduated from Bath High School in 1952. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time farming, camping, fishing, and Church. He was a "Milkman", a "Candyman", a "Salesman" and retired from Tractor Supply.

Bruce was predeceased by his parents Robert and Bethel Pierce and granddaughter Susan Pierce. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Caroline (Longstaff) Pierce, children: son Michael (Linda) Pierce of Ovid, daughter Kathy (Phil) Thelen of Ovid, son Steve (Cheryl) Pierce of Ovid, grandchildren: Cody Thelen, James Pierce, Jake Thelen, Dillon Thelen, Jessica Pierce, Kyle Pierce, Katie Pierce, Brianna Pierce, and Brittany Pierce, sister Carolyn Donahue and family of Bath, brother in law David (Maria Lolita) Longstaff and family, and many cousins and friends.
