Bruce Allen Snider, age 56, of Erwin, Tennessee, formerly of Owosso, Michigan, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 at Erwin Health Care, Erwin, Tennessee.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Burton Kincaid and Rev. Mark Kincaid officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Bruce was born November 24, 1954 in Owosso, Michigan the son of Maurice and Bina (Smith) Snider. Bruce was an employee of Wal-Mart, and he was a member of First Free Methodist Church in Owosso.
Bruce is survived by his wife Sheila (Edwards) Snider, daughter, Jessica Bonner and husband Chris, of Casper, WY, step-son, Michael Coon, of Casper, WY, 4 grandchildren; Caleb Coon, Bailey Bonner, Evan Bonner, and Logan Bonner, one sister, Ruth Jandik, of Owosso, MI, three brothers, Wayne and Gail Snider of Springfield, IL, Ralph and Jackie Snider of St. Johns, MI, Carl and Bethany Snider of Pickford, MI, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and his special companion, his dog Lucy. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, David Jandik.
