Bryce Updegraff Sr

Bryce Keith Updegraff Sr., age 65, of Riverdale, MI died Friday, May 20, 2011 at his home.
Funeral Services will be held at Good Sheperd Lutheran Church Alma, MI on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 2:00 P.M., Pastor John Eich will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 1-8 P.M. with family present from 1-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
Bryce was born in Alma, Michigan on December 16, 1945, the son of Raymond Howard and Doris (Richardson) Updegraff. He graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1965. Bryce married Vivian Francis on July 26, 1975 in Deford, MI. Bryce resided most of his life in St. Louis. He retired from Lowell Light & Power in 2008, and was a member of IBEW. He had also worked for the City of St. Louis Electric Dept. for 17 years, and was a licensed builder. Bryce enjoyed hunting, shooting, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Alma, MI.
He is survived by his wife Vivian Updegraff of Riverdale, MI, 2 sons; Ray Updegraff of St. Louis, MI, Bryce and Jessica Updegraff of Shepherd, MI, daughter Dana Jefferson of Grand Rapids, MI, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.
