Burdella "Burt"Sexton

Burdella P. "Burt" Sexton, age 82, passed away on October 27, 2012. She was born April 14, 1930 in West Branch, Michigan the daughter of Andrew and Rose (Turland) Page. She married Roy "Bill" Sexton March 21, 1950 and after his death married Kenneth F. Sexton September 11, 1970 he also preceded her in death.

Burt is survived by her children, Barbara (Richard) DePeal, Bill Sexton, Bernie Sexton, Ben (Mary) Sexton, Roselyn (Ed ) Wigglesworth, Eric (Lisa) Sexton and Ken (Diane) Sexton, several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Luella Brinley, Bessie Loomis and Ethel (Roland) Finkule and brother, Owen (Kathy) Page. Along with her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Hamlin, Fran Walton and Edna Bartz and brothers, Don, Jessie and Ernie Page.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Houghton Chapel of Osgood Funeral Homes in Ovid with burial following at Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Ed Schweikert officiating. The family will receive friends 11- 1 P.M. prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to First Church of God in Owosso or to the Capital Area Humane Society. Her family is being served by the Osgood Funeral Home.
