Carl M. Beagle age 83 of Grand Ledge, Michigan, died Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Sparrow Health System, Lansing, Michigan, Mass of Christian Burial will be held at, St. Paula�(TM)s Catholic Church, Ithaca, Michigan on Monday, June 26, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 4-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel with burial taking place in the Ithaca Cemetery, Ithaca, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Julius Spleet will officiate.
Carl was born in Kreston, Ohio on July 4, 1922 the son of Karl & Jenny ( Coulter ) Beagle. He graduated from the St. Louis High School with the class of 1940 and resided most of his life in Grand Ledge, for the past 30 years, prior to that he lived in the St. Louis & Alma, Michigan areas.
In 1942 he married Hazel L. LeBaron in St. Louis, Michigan, she died in 1969, on September 16, 1995 he married Dorothy Perkins in Las Vegas, Nevada, and she survives him. He served his country in the US Army during WW2.
Carl retired 1987 as a carpenter: he loved family functions, dancing, riding his Harley Davidson with his sons & family, He loved spending time with his grandchildren and a special his friend, his cat Nike. He attended St. Gerard Catholic Church in Lansing, Michigan.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Beagle of Grand Ledge, Michigan, 4 children, Mary & John Huffman of Ithaca, Michigan, Doug & Peggy Beagle of St. Johns, Michigan, Roger & Cathy Beagle of Elmira, Michigan, Carlene & Bruce Bailey of Alma, Michigan, 10 grandchildren, Sheri & Jeff Holme of Santa Maria, California, Sandy & Lester Allen of Ithaca, Michigan, Shelly Bailey of Vernon, Michigan, Rob & Becky Beagle of Elmira, Michigan, Scott & Courtney Beagle of Sumner, Michigan, Derek Beagle of Elmira, Michigan, Brandie & Matt Bupp of Alma, Michigan, Nick & Angie Bailey of Ithaca, Michigan, Ryan Bailey of Alma, Michigan, Greg Huffman of North Carolina, 8 great grandchildren, Sabrina, Courtney, Rance, Park, Bronson, Caden, Zac, Mandy, 1 sister, Jackie of California, 4 brothers, John & Betty Beagle of Hemlock, Michigan, Denny Beagle of New Mexico, Tom Beagle of California, Hal & Edna Beagle of Hawaii. He was predeceased by his parents, 1st wife, grandson David John, 1 sister, Deloris Fetterly. Memorials can be directed to the family.
