Carol Henry

Carol M. Henry, age 73, of Bannister, MI passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Mona Dye officiating. Burial will take place at Pinckney Village Cemetery, Pinckney, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Carol was born in St. Johns, Michigan on November 3, 1941, the daughter of Howard and Ellen (Bishop) Salisbury. She graduated from Springfield Local High School in Holland Ohio. On September 30, 1978 she married Gerald "Jerry" Arthur Henry, in Eaton Rapids, Michigan.

Carol enjoyed genealogy; she volunteered at the Clinton County Historical Society. She loved horses, crocheting and ceramics. Carol made many keepsakes for her family. Carol liked traveling, especially trips to Shipshewana. She was a member of Bannister United Methodist Church, Bannister, MI.

She is survived by her sister Ethel and Harold Magaw of Grand Junction, CO, brother Keith and Jodi Salisbury of Chesaning, MI, sister in law Kathryn and Keith Bradbury of Dexter, MI, brother in law Lambert and Joyce Henry of Sears, MI, brother in law Bruce Henry of Brighton, MI, brother in law Gary and Helen Henry of Pekin, IL, and sister in law Donna Henry of Schaumburg, IL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry, sister Sue Salisbury, brother in law Charles Henry and nephew Rob Henry.
