Carol Kay Maxted age 48 of Ashley, Indiana formerly of Gratiot County, Michigan died Sunday, December 26, 2004 at her daughtera�(TM)s home in Alma, Michigan.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Louis Church of Christ. Mr. Keith Wise will officiate.
Carol was born in Alma, MI on June 13, 1956 the daughter of Henry J. and Estella Dee (Woodcock) Dringenberg. She attended Breckenridge Public Schools and graduated from Alma Adult Education. She resided in Gratiot County until moving to Indiana 5 years ago. She was a member of the Ashley Church of God in Ashley, IN where she was active in the church choir. Carol married Donald Maxted in Traverse City on January 11, 1996. Carol was a homemaker. She enjoyed embroidery and spending time and visiting with her children and grandchildren. She also loved to watch movies, especially her Shirley Temple collection.
She is survived by her husband Donald Maxted of Ashley, IN, 2 children; Pepper & Chris McConnell of Alma, MI, Donald Dale Brooks of Logansport, IN, 3 grandchildren; Sarah Katie, Eric, and Amber, father Henry & Ruth Dringenberg of St. Louis, MI, sister Sheryl & Gary Rehm of Ashley, MI, brother Darrell & Jerri Dringenberg of Edmore, MI, sister LeAnn Jane of Logansport, IN, and several nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her mother Estella Dee Howd, and stepfather Dale Howd.
