Carol Schautz

Carol A. Schautz, passed away, February 14, 2012, at the age of 70. Born October 13, 1941, in Duluth, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Carl and Elsie (Petterson) Fredrickson. Carol was a member of Greenbush United Methodist Church, and volunteered at Rave as well as Meals on Wheels. Carol married Lloyd Schautz on January 18, 1985 in Clinton County, Michigan and he survives her.

Also surviving is her daughter, Lori Hogan Robertson of Perry, MI, son, Michael (Mayuri) Hogan of Eagle, MI, grandchildren, Bryce and Jordan Robertson, Chelsea and Zachary Fenner, Alyssa and Nicholas Hogan, one brother, James (Linda) Fredrickson, one niece, Kate Fredrickson, as well as a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Greenbush United Methodist Church in St. Johns, with Pastor Mona Dye officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-5 PM at the church, as well as one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
