Carolyn Sue (Lover) Becker

     Carolyn Sue Becker, age 70, of Ithaca, MI, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 22, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

     In following her wishes, a cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

     Carolyn was born in Alma, Michigan on July 4, 1952, the daughter of Harold J. and Fern E. (Chase) Lover. On October 4, 1969, Carolyn married Kenneth Arthur Becker at the Racy Free Methodist Church. They have been married 53 years.

     Carolyn’s biggest love in life was her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her dog Bailey. She treasured her large family and always looked forward to family gatherings. She loved having her home filled with the sounds of her grandchildren playing. There were many days at Grandma and Grandpa's with family dinners, playing outside around the "Bubblegum Tree", and making memories together. A Christmas did not get missed without all the grandchildren and great grandchildren sitting in the special chair opening their gifts. Many of her grandchildren's favorite memories involve time in Grandma's kitchen baking and eating their favorite meals. She had a special relationship with each one and knew just how to make them feel loved.

     She is survived by her husband Ken, five children: Chad (Rene) Becker, Jeremy (Heather) Becker, Sherry (Conrad) Hayes, Shelly (Dave) Brown, and Steve (Jesse) Becker; fourteen grandchildren: Brett, J, Jaimee, Cassie (Bradly), Courtney, McKenna, Amelia (Brandon), Bethany, Savanah, Savana, Aubriel, Luke, Siera, and Hoyt; six great-grandchildren: Harper, Hudson, Lyric, Luna, Millie, and Eli.  She is also survived by three siblings: Betty Mahmoody, Jim Lover, and Shirley (Kel) Hoffman; mother-in-law Dorothy Becker, in-laws: Kathy Chaffin, Rick (Debbie) Becker, Vicky (Rick) Draper, and David Becker; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law Cecil Becker, brother Pete Lover, sister Janet Stilson, and brother-in-law Charles Chaffin.
