Carolyn Durfee

Carolyn R. Durfee age 72 of Corunna, Michigan died Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Durand Convalescent Manor Durand, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on November 20, 2006 at 1:00 PM. Rev. Rodger DeVore will officiate Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2006 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service.

Carolyn was born in New Freeport, Pennsylvania on January 12, 1934 the daughter of Harley and Alice ( Sellers ) Beverlin. She resided most of her life in Mt. Pleasant before moving to Corunna in 1967. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1952. Carolyn was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and canning. She was very dedicated to her family.

She is survived by 3 daughters; Kathy & Dan Porter of Montana, Terri & the late Roy Langdon of Owosso, MI, Jan & Bill Stanhope of Owosso, MI, 3 sons; Joe Durfee of Owosso, MI, Neil Durfee of Owosso, MI, Tim & Becky Durfee of Mt. Pleasant, MI, her childrens father Boyd Durfee of Montana, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 brother Bill & Phyllis Beverlin of Florida. She is predeceased by her parents and son-in-law Roy Langdon.

Memorials may be made to the family for her son Joe's care. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
