Carolyn Koenigsknecht

Carolyn A. Koenigsknecht, of Fowler, MI died February 21, 2015 at the age of 74. Born March 10, 1940 to Joseph and Antoinette (Schneider) Trierweiler, Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid gardener, especially loved her flowers, loved playing cards, and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carolyn was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and Catholic Order of Foresters. In 1962 Carolyn married John Koenigsknecht and he preceded her in death in 2002.

Surviving are her children; Randy (Carol) Koenigsknecht, Jeff (Kris) Koenigsknecht, Kurt (Patty) Koenigsknecht, Dana (Dale) Schafer, Neil (Wendy) Koenigsknecht; 17 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; brother; Matt (Maggie) Trierweiler; sisters, Mary Jane (Gene) Schoendorf, Kay Huston, Jean Thelen and twin sister, Marilyn (Bernard) Thelen; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, John, Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Joan (Ray) Thelen and Ernestine (Warren) Dolan; brothers-in-law, Murv Huston and Bruno Thelen.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler with Fr. William Koenigsknecht presiding. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Goerge Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Home, 11112 W. Ionia, Fowler.
