Catherine Orlowski

Catherine Goldie Orlowski age 60, of Elsie, MI, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, MI, on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Craig Hollenbeck officiating.  Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, MI.  Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, MI.

Cathy was born in Howell, MI on August 15, 1957 the daughter of Walter and Leona Vivian (Lobdell) Orlowski. She graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1975.

Cathy worked at Ashley Care Center for many years and also in manufacturing as quality control. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, mushrooming, hunting, playing lottery tickets and going to the casino on occasion. Cathy loved the Lord Jesus with all of her heart. She loved her family and she couldn't wait to be reunited with her parents. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by brother Robert and Carol Orlowski of Potterville, MI, brother Thomas Orlowski of Manistee, MI, sister Marian Hamp (Mark Merithew) of Freeland, MI, sister Nancy Grace of Rawlins, WY, sister Susan Musielak of Hemlock, MI, sister Barbara and David Kocur of Brant, MI, sister Gloria and Glenn Rose of Alma, MI, sister Rita Orlowski (Jerry Wetzel) of Ithaca, MI, and brother Steven Orlowski (Diane Nowlin) of Onekema, MI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Carol Lynn Orlowski and Patricia Orlowski, and brother in law Michael Musielak.
