Charles "Bud" Raymon Dell Sr., age 77, of Owosso, MI passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, Oakley, MI on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 11:00 A.M., Rev. Fr. Rick Bokinskie will officiate. Burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park Flint, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 19, 2009 from 6-8 PM. and Friday, March 20, 2009 from 2-8 PM with the family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM with a Scripture Service at 7 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI.
Bud was born in Flint, Michigan on August 6, 1931, the son of Henry and Ella (Rosa) Dell. Charles married Beverley Gray September 24, 1955 in Flint, MI. He served his country in the U.S. Army and resided most of his life in Flint, MI, living in Owosso for 33 years. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church Oakley, MI.
Bud retired 17 years ago from the GM Buick plant in Flint. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, going to the cabin, boat riding & going to the casino. Watching Tiger games and having drinks with his family was a favorite pastime. Bud also enjoyed puzzles and hand held electronic games. Spending time with Chico 'his baby boy dog' was the highlight of his day.
He is survived by his wife Beverley Dell of Owosso, MI, son Bob and Margo Dell of Flint, MI, daughter Tamie and Kirk Willson of Chesaning, MI, son Delbert and Tonya Dell of Petoskey, MI, daughter Ella and Mike McLain of Mississippi, daughter Mary and Gary Bunch of Fenton, MI, daughter Kris and Derek Klima of Clarkston, MI, 23 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and sister Barbara and Sheridan Wezell of Flint, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons; Charles II and Jason Dell as well as a brother, Kenneth Dell and a sister Delores Beuche.
