Charles Hindall

Charles R. Hindall age 73 of Ashley, Michigan died Sunday, May 27, 2007 at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Mr. Thomas Bradley will officiate.

Charles was born in Edmore, Michigan on December 9, 1933 the son of Darrell and Hazel ( Chase ) Hindall. He resided most of his life in the Pompeii, and Bannister areas and attended Vestaburg Schools. Charles married Kay Keiser on May 24, 1952. She died on August 27, 2001. He retired from GM in Lansing in 1995 after 42 years of service. He worked for the Village of Elsie & Ovid, and for the Ashley Nursing Home. He was also a former Little League Coach. He enjoyed helping people and sharing a joke.

He is survived by 3 daughters; Linda & David Grover of Shepard, MI, Denise Uribe of St. Johns, MI, Sheila & Don Hier of Ashley, MI, 1 son Bob & Tina Hindall of Ithaca, MI, companion Frances Bashore of Ashley, MI, 3 sisters; Mary Ellen Hetzman of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Pat & Gordon Siggins of Grand Rapids, MI, Jo & Charles Johnson of Blanchard, MI. He is predeceased by his parents, wife, and 1 sister June Hall.
