Charles Hudecz, Jr

Charles C. "Chuck" Hudecz Jr., age 66, of Vestaburg, MI went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Warwick Living Center in Alma, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at M-46 Tabernacle in Riverdale, MI on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Dan Skirvin officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI.

Chuck was born in Alma, Michigan on September 11, 1947, the son of Charles and Nadine (Wroe) Hudecz. He graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1965. He attended Alma College and Ferris State University. Chuck married Judith L. Thompson on December 17, 1983 in Vestaburg, MI. Chuck loved fishing, working with children, and traveling. He worked for Lutheran Social Services of Elwell, and Dallas County News in Adel, Iowa. He was a member of M-46 Tabernacle, Riverdale, MI.

Chuck is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years Judy Hudecz of Vestaburg, MI, brother in law Doug Thompson of Mason, OH, sister Ginnie and Herb Kimball of Lake Isabella, MI, sister Nancy and Keith Deline of Riverdale, MI, 2 nieces; Amy and Mark Neipman of Suwanee, GA, Debbie and Ray Christie of Mt. Pleasant, MI, 2 nephews; Mark and Melissa Deline of Vestaburg, MI, Dan and Dani Deline of Ithaca, MI, and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law Bob and Wanda Thompson, and nephew Jon Kimball.
