Charles ?Wilber? McNeal, age 93, of St. Louis, MI died Monday, August 23, 2010 at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Louis Church of Christ on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. Mr. Keith Wise will officiate. Burial will take place at Thetford Twp. Cemetery in Genesee County, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 11 AM until time of service at St. Louis Church of Christ.

Wilber was born in Millington, Michigan on October 27, 1916, the son of Henry and Ethel (McNeal) Thompson. He graduated from Millington High School with the class of 1934. He was married to Beatrice (Lyon) McNeal on July 7, 1984. Wilber resided most of his life in the Millington area, until moving to St. Louis 25 years ago. He was a member of the St. Louis Church of Christ. He retired from General Motors as an overhead crane operator in 1972. He loved traveling to Florida, and was a proud shuffleboard champion.

He is survived by his wife Beatrice McNeal of St. Louis, MI, son Robert and Susan McNeal of Frankfort, MI, daughter Barbara and Duane McCallon of Buena Vista, CO, son Charles Richard and Janice McNeal of Clio, MI, step children; Gary and Gaila Miller of Breckenridge, MI, Bonita and Wayne Hout of Farwell, MI, Charlene and Bob Mollema of Breckenridge, MI, Brenda and Duane Huntoon of Ithaca, MI, Marvin and Debbie Miller of Maryland, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Agnes J. McNeal, sister Ruth Jensen, and stepson Douglas D. Miller.
