Charlotte Edna Arnst, age 85, of Bannister, MI, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025.
A Memorial Service will be held at East Washington United Brethren Church, Ashley, MI, on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Jeff Reser and Pastor Jerry Drummond officiating. Burial will take place at Fairfield Township Cemetery, Fairfield Twp., MI, at a later date.
Charlotte was born in Saginaw, MI on April 19, 1939, the daughter of Elias and Edna (Forester) Evans. Charlotte married David Arnst on July 11, 1959, at East Washington United Brethren Church, Ashley, MI. David passed away on December 7, 2015.
Charlotte's ministry was sharing a Daily Bread devotional with family and friends. She loved to read and felt it was important to read the Bible, every night she fell asleep to her gospel music. Charlotte mailed handwritten cards and letters of encouragement to many people. Charlotte had many passions but most importantly to her was her family. No matter if a person had a fault she was with them through their worst and their best. She will be remembered for her caregiving heart. Charlotte was a member of East Washington United Brethren Church.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy and Doug Kirby of Bannister, MI; daughter Edna and Kenny Peters of Bannister, MI; son David Arnst of Carson City, MI; 6 grandchildren: Doug and Jamie Kirby, Holly and Justin Boone, Becky and John Chrenka, Eric and Alisha Peters, Alex and Abby Arnst, and also April Sutliff; 11 great-grandchildren; her sisters: Stella and Julia. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Edgar Arnst, and her siblings.
