Cheryl Lynn "Della" Aldridge, age 57, of Alma, MI went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Masonic Pathways in Alma, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Doig Chapel at Masonic Pathways, Alma, MI on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor George Ayoub officiating.

Cheryl was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 20, 1954, the daughter of Donavon Aldridge and Madeline Rose (Turner) Dowd. She collected ink pens, stuffed animals, and enjoyed watching animals and shopping. She loved to talk and have company, especially her family. Della also liked watching movies. Her smile was enough to light up a room, and she was very thoughtful and caring. She was a member of Pilgrim United Methodist Church, St. Johns, MI.

She is survived by her son Joe and Ashley Anderson of Potterville, MI, granddaughter Elizabeth Anderson, sister Dorothy and John Anderson of St. Johns, MI, sister Sue and Don Farr of Sumner, MI, brother Danny and Debbie Dowd of Ithaca, MI, brother Kevin and Dawn Dowd of Breckenridge, MI, brother Darryl Dowd of Alma, MI, and brother John Dowd of Alma, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Clair Dowd, and twin brothers Patrick & Michael Aldridge.
