Cheryl Fisher

Cheryl L. (Jessup) Fisher, age 68, of St. Louis, MI, left this earth on Sunday, December 25, 2016.  Cheryl was born on February 16, 1948 in Alma, MI to Theron E. and Lettie L. (Petro) Jessup.  She has resided in the Gratiot and Midland County area all of her life.

Cheryl was a homemaker most of her life.  She also sold Avon, real estate, and Tupperware.  She also worked as a security guard for a couple of years.  Her proudest job though was being a stay at home Mom.  She married the love of her life, Howard L. Fisher, on June 11, 1966.  They had the joy of celebrating 50 years of marriage with their children and grandchildren last June.  Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Howard L. Fisher of St. Louis, mother Lettie Jessup of St. Louis, brother Bob (Judy) Jessup of Alma, her children; Sondra (Duane) Wheeler of White Cloud, MI, Rebecca (Daniel) Johnson of Wyoming, MI, Merle Fisher of St. Louis, MI and Michael (Celina) Fisher of Ithaca, MI, 4 grandchildren; Marissa and Colton Fisher, Danny and Joshua Johnson, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, father Theron Jessup, two brothers; Kenneth Jessup and Brian Jessup, a sister-in-law Tammy Jessup and many aunts and uncles.

Cheryl’s wishes were for cremation and no other services at this time.  A memorial service will take place at a later date.
