Christine Lyons

Christine Elyse Lyons age 57 of Owosso formerly of Port Huron, Michigan died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at her home.

Memorial Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Pastor Billy Cole will officiate Visitation will be held on Friday, October 5, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. and Saturday, October 6, 2007 from 12:00 until time of the service at 1:00 P.M.

Christine was born in Port Huron, Michigan on October 12, 1949 the daughter of John and Elyse ( Dortman ) Swaffield. She resided most of her life in in Melvindale before moving to Owosso in 2002 and graduated from Port Huron High School with the class of 1967. Christine married Raymond M. Lyons on June 20, 1997 in Taylor, Michigan. She worked for Hayes Lemmerz in Northville, Michigan until 2000 when they moved. Christine enjoyed the outdoors, nature and being up North.

She is survived by her husband Raymond Lyons of Owosso, MI, daughter Tiffaney Kolar of St. Clair Shores, MI, son Sebastian Atwater of Allen Park, MI, 3 step children, 1 granddaughter Delaney Kolar of St. Clair Shores, MI, 5 step grandchildren, 1 sister Julie Kelley-Wilczynski & Gary Wilczynski of Port Huron, MI, 1 brother John Swaffield of Port Huron, MI. and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, 1 son Sean, and 1 sister Linda Sharpe.
