Clara Everingham

Clara Mae Everingham, age 79, of Carson City, MI, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020, at Metron of Greenville.

Graveside Services will be held at Bloomer Township Cemetery, Carson City, MI on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Larry Austin officiating. Visitation will take place at the cemetery on Friday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the graveside service.

Clara was born in Grand Rapids, MI on November 14, 1940, the daughter of Carroll Kenneth and Clara Eugenea (May) Johnsen.  She married Eugene Dale Everingham on December 13, 1958.

Clara loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed going to the races with Kris and Cathy Patterson and watching NASCAR. She liked taking trips in their motorhome. She loved watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports and perform in dance recitals. Clara enjoyed making jewelry with Vicky Springsteen, going to music jamboree's, listening to her grandson Mike sing, and listening to B-93.7 radio. She loved to color and did a lot of it at Metron of Belding the past 3-4 years. Clara loved to cook and was very good at it. She enjoyed helping Sandra at her greenhouses and going shopping. She looked forward to Dan'na Rohn cutting her hair.

She is survived by daughter Carla and William Ehle, their children: Edward Everingham, Bill and Rob Ehle, Necole and Tom Lowery; daughter Sandra Grimwood, her children: LeAnn Grimwood, Jason Barbachyn, Mike and Lacy Braaflat, Amber and Mike DePue; son Ken and Carol Everingham, their children: Cody Everingham, Lori and Joseph Burgtorf, Jen Hull, Wes Hull, Stephanie and Jameson Kipp; great grandchildren: Charlie, Vivian, Laura, Khloe, Kamryn, Korbin, Frankie, Renae, Isaiah, Karley, Paige, December, Hunter, Samantha, JJ, Audrey, Kaden, Charli, Evelane, Paisly, Joey and Errik. She also has two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way. She is also survived by brother Harold Johnson, sister Barbara Lawton, sisters in law: Ruth Hodge, Neva and Gerald Springsteen, Tarry Everingham and Claudette Sabin; special friends: all of the staff at Metron of Belding, Shari Melahn, Vicky Springsteen, Deb & Henry Casillas, Kris & Cathy Patterson, and Cheryl Zarafonitis.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene Everingham, infant daughter Ann Marie, brother Jack Johnsen, mother & father in law Leora and Raymond Everingham, brothers and sisters in law: Chuck and Inez Bowers, Edith and Joe Prentler, Marvin Everingham and grandson Barry Ridgeway Jr.
