Clara M. Lane age 80 of St. Louis, Michigan died Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at Schnepp Healthcare Center, St. Louis, Michigan.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Riverbend Baptist Church, St. Louis, Michigan.
Clara was born in Gratiot County, Michigan on February 19, 1925 the daughter of Albert & Nora ( Brady ) Hitchcock. She was a lifelong resident of St. Louis, Michigan. Clara married Duane Lane on September 26, 1947 in St. Louis, Michigan.
Survivors include her husband Duane Lane of St. Louis, MI, 2 daughters; Jacqueline & Daniel Evey of Sumner, MI, Nancy & Michael Wood of St. Louis, MI, 3 grandchildren; Ronald & Shawna Lytle of Bay City, MI, Adam Wood of St. Louis, MI, Heather Poll of Calumet, MI, 2 step granddaughters; Michelle & Kelly, 6 great grandchildren; Jessie, Mason, Carter, Noah, Blayton, & Logan, and 2 brothers; Carl Hitchcock of Beaverton, MI, Mike Hitchcock of Beaverton, MI. She is predeceased by her parents, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
