Clarence Huffman

Clarence Huffman age 65 of St. Louis, Michigan formerly of St. Johns, Michigan, died on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Gratiot Medical Center, Alma, Michigan. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Mount St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Louis on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 10 am. Visitation will be Sunday evening 6-8 P.M. and Monday 2-4 & 6-8 P. M. with a Knights of Columbus Rosary being prayed at 5:00 P.M. on Monday evening at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel. Rev. Fr. Kevin Maksym will officiate and burial will take place at Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, Michigan.
Clarence was born in Marion, Indiana on August 4, 1941 the son of Clarence Charles & Rose Marie (Edwards) Huffman Sr. He he attended school in California and on November 2, 1962 he married Judy Hussong in Marion Indiana. Clarence worked as an auto mechanic for several years at Tuffy Auto Services in Owosso and Keelean Buick in St. Johns, Michigan. Clarence was a 3rd & 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a proud special deputy volunteer of the Ingham County Sheriffs Department. He loved his grandchildren and his dog Rosie, he loved hunting, fishing and golfing and spending time with his family. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the D.A.V.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Huffman of St. Louis, Michigan, 4 children, Edward Huffman of Middleton, Michigan, Michael & Cathy Huffman of Bel Air, Michigan, Timothy & Michelle Huffman of
Maple Rapids, Michigan, Jennie & Martin Smith of Alma, Michigan, 8 grandchildren, Edward, Judy, Amanda, Carilynn, Timmy, Brandon, Christopher, Sierra, 4 sisters & 6 brothers, and his dog Rosie. He was predeceased by his parents, 1 son Clarence Charles Huffman III, 1 sister.
