Clarence Perry

Clarence L. Perry, age 87, of Henderson, MI passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at the Funeral Home.

Clarence was born in Owosso, Michigan on June 13, 1921, the son of Clarence B. and Martha P. (Bartz) Perry. Clarence married Lois Jones on March 21, 1948 in Henderson, Michigan. Lois passed away April 25, 2002. Clarence resided all of his life in Shiawassee County. He was employed with the Owosso Post Office retiring in 1982 and worked in the tool crib at General Motors Turnsted and attended G.M.I. Clarence served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Henderson Church of Christ where he held the title of Elder and Chairman of the Congregation. Clarence enjoyed fishing, the water, camping, especially vacationing in scenic places.

He is survived by 3 sons; James A. and Pamela Perry of Owosso, MI, Richard B. and Khristine Perry of Vernon, MI & Douglas and Jill Perry of Owosso, MI, grandchildren; Billy Boyce, Rachel Perry, Marie Perry, Luke Perry, Jamie Puderbach, Breanna Perry & Seth Perry, 3 great-grandchildren; Taylor Roge, Melissia Puderbach & Joshua Puderbach. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, also 2 sisters, Jessie Phillips & Evelyn Pratt.
