Clarence J. Trowbridge Jr, age 96, formerly of Ovid, MI died Sunday November, 24, 2013 at Olive Branch Assisted Living Center in Perry, Michigan.
No funeral services are scheduled.
Clarence was born on July 25, 1917 in Grand Rapids, MI, the son of Clarence J and Agnes M. (Hughson) Trowbridge. He was married to Lena H. Barrett (Nicholson) in Parkersburg, WV on May 14, 1960. Clarence worked for the Michigan Milk Producers Association in Ovid for 41 years and retired in 1984.
He is survived by his spouse, Lena Trowbridge who currently resides in Iron River, MI, 5 children; son Kevin & Michelle Trowbridge of Corunna, MI, daughter Beverly (Trowbridge) & Duane Funk of Palatine, IL, son Allen & Joan Adair of Elsie, MI, step daughter Verl (Nicholson) & Jack Hudson of Iron River, MI, step son George & Sherry Nicholson of Ovid, MI, 12 grandchildren; Isabella, Lauren & Jacob Trowbridge of Corunna, MI, Nicholas & Allison Miles of Palatine, IL, Scott Adair of Elsie, MI, Tammy (Adair) & Tim Chapko of Jackson, GA, Joshua & Christina Hudson of Appleton, WI, Ellie Hudson of Chicago, IL, Andrea (Hudson) & Jim Gallie of Scottville, MI, Zachary & Jaclyn Nicholson of Owosso, MI and Jovonnah Nicholson of Grand Rapids, MI, 9 great grandchildren; John & Joseph Hudson, Cooper Price, Max & Brayden Nicholson, Steven Adair, Andrew, Adrianna & Nicholas Chapko. Also surviving, his eldest sister Mildred Bashore. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Richard Trowbridge, sister Mary Showers, sister Beatrice Kelley and grandson Dale Adair.
