Cliff Kelly

Cliff Edward Kelly, age 85, of Crystal, MI passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at his home.
A private memorial service is planned.
Cliff was born and raised in the Harmony, PA area the son of C. Edward and Daisy (Daymond) Kelly. He joined the U.S. Navy during WW II and served in the Pacific Theater on the USS Casablanca. After being discharged he moved to Michigan and married Marjorie Habeker in 1950. Cliff was an automotive mechanic for many years in the Alma and Stanton areas. He was a lifetime VFW member and was a Commander and Chaplin at the Alma Post 1454. Cliff married Bonnie Kozler in 1973 and moved to the Crystal Lake area. He worked at the Crystal Township and counted Mr. Dan Eller as one of his many friends.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, C. Edward Kelly and Daisy (Daymond) Kelly and his wife, Bonnie. He is survived by his three sisters; Dorothy McCandless of Pittsburg, PA, Genevieve McCormick of Manistique, MI, and Winifred McCormick of Vestaburg, MI, two sons; Ed Kelly and Mike & Nadeen Kelly of Alma, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
