Coleen Ruth-Russell Lemons

      Coleen Ruth-Russell Lemons, 66, of Ithaca, Michigan, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center, Alma Michigan.

     At Coleen’s request, a cremation has take place. There will be a celebration of life to take place at a later date.

     Coleen was born in Charlevoix, Michigan on March 27, 1955, the daughter of Jack  and Dorothy (Feltenbarger) Russell. She graduated from Charlevoix High School with the class of 1974.

     Coleen loved walking on the beach, collecting Petoskey stones and sea shells on the ocean. She enjoyed doing crafts. She was an avid sports fan and loved cheering on her favorite teams. She faithfully supported Janelle in sports, band, drama productions, and any activities that she partook in.

     Coleen drove school bus for Ithaca Public Schools and especially liked driving for sporting events. She loved to sit around after morning routes with them and laugh, crack jokes, and go to breakfast at Hearthstone.

     Coleen is survived by her daughter Janelle Lemons of Midland, sister Carol Ward of Charlevoix and 2 nieces and 1 nephew: Natalie, Russell, and Brittany. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law Don Ward.
