Colleen Tyler, age 99, of Owosso, MI died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Ovid Healthcare Center, Ovid, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Susan Kingsley officiating. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Colleen was born in Berwick, North Dakota on December 24, 1912, the daughter of Jacob and Margaret (Ziegler) Schell. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard White, Sr. and her second husband, August Tyler.

Colleen was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Owosso, MI where she was a member of the Women's Society. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star # 206 having served as a Past Worthy Matron.

She is survived by her son Richard White Jr. of Ovid, MI and grandson Richard and Destinee White III of Owosso, MI. In addition to her parents and both husbands, Colleen was preceded in death by her daughter Joanne Holmes and her sister and brothers.
