Coyla Jennings

Coyla Elizabeth Jennings age 94 of died December 24, 2007 at Chesaning Nursing Care Center, Chesaning, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Pastor John Walworth will officiate with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 from 3-9 P.M. and Saturday 11 am till the time of service.

Coyla was born in Chapin, Michigan on January 23, 1913 the daughter of Dee and Emma ( Snyder ) Loynes. She resided all of her life in Owosso and graduated from Owosso High School. Coyla married Laville Jennings, in Owosso, Michigan on September 7, 1939, he predeceased her in 1971. She was a homemaker and she sold Beauty Counselor (Vanda) Cosmetics for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Owosso, Michigan, and was active in the Palette & Brush Club.

She is survived by her daughter Constance & Robert Bradley of Arizona, 3 grandchildren; Jackie & Judd Uken, Malinda & Tim Breining, Rob Bradley , 7 great grandchildren, 1 sister in law Valesta Loynes, 3 nieces and 1 nephew. She is predeceased by her husband, 1 sister Doris Crawford & 1 brother Ennis Loynes.

Memorials may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ, Owosso, Michigan or Shiawassee Arts Council. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.
