Cullen Arnold Webb, age 89, of Wheeler, MI died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at his home with his wife and children by his side.

Funeral Services will be held at Breckenridge United Methodist Church on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Rick Webb and Pastor Rex Webb officiating. Burial will take place at Lafayette Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2009 from 2-5 PM. at Breckenridge United Methodist Church.

Cullen was born in Lafayette Township, Gratiot County, Michigan on November 1, 1919, the son of Thomas Franklin and Jesse May (Pettit) Webb. He graduated from Ithaca High School. He was a lifelong resident of Rathbone. Cullen married Bethel Gladys Leonard on March 29, 1947 in Coe Township, MI. Cullen enjoyed playing softball for the Rathbone Indians. He was also an auctioneer, and was a lay pastor for the Methodist Churches. He was a self employed building contractor and farmer. Cullen was a lifetime member of Rathbone United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Bethel Webb of Wheeler, MI, daughter Jean and Greg Gordon of Invergrove Heights, MN, 3 sons; Cullen and Karen Webb of Wheeler, MI, Rex and Carol Webb of Perrinton, MI, Rick and Linda Webb of Pinconning, MI, 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a brother Wilfred and Virginia Webb of Hazel Park, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Morley Webb.
