Cynthia "Cindy "Jean Gurden, age 56, of Owosso, Michigan, died Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., Rev. Susan Kingsley will officiate. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. and Sunday, January 3, 2010 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Cindy was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 10, 1953, the daughter of Eugene and Jo Ann (Reynolds) Gurden. She graduated from Owosso High School with the class of 1972. She had worked for Young's Cadillac in Owosso in the office and before that she had worked for Harrelson Chevrolet. Cindy enjoyed scrap booking, gardening and crocheting and was a member of the Corunna VFW Post.

She is survived by her father Eugene Gurden of Owosso, MI, 1 sister Terry and Gary Hudson of Lansing, MI, 3 nieces; Aimee Schubert, Elisha Hudson, Erikka Hudson, nephew Ryan Hudson, and great niece & nephew Vivian, and Dominick. She was predeceased by her mother.
