Daniel Findley

Daniel Ray Findley age 46 of St. Louis, Michigan passed away at his home on Saturday, April 16, 2005 with his loving family and special friends by his side.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel. Pastor George Showers will officiate.
Daniel was born on July 11, 1958 in Alma, Michigan the son of James & Patricia ( Andrews ) Findley. Dan resided on St. Louis, MI most of his life. He attended Alma High School when he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served from 1977-1981 with most of his tour served in Germany. Dan married Robin V. Parshall on June 16, 1978. He was employed at Alma Products for 12 years. He was self employed as a home repair business for many years. He was employed at North State Sales for the last four years. Dan took great pride in everything that he accomplished, including life long friendships.
Dan worked hard and played just as hard. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. He also enjoyed canoeing, playing cars and traveling.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Robin, 3 loving sons, Jason D. Findley currently serving in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. Nicholas J. Findley and Jonathon R. Findley both residing at home, 1 brother, James F. & Cheryl Findley of Ithaca, MI, 1 sister Rhonda Wernette & Mick Eldred of Blanchard, MI, his dad Leonard L. Morford and several step brothers & sisters. He dearly loved all his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & many special friends and extended family members. Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia L. Morford, his mother & father-in-law, John L. & Wanda P. Parshall.
Dana�(TM)s wishes were that everyone smiled and remembered his love of their friendship. Memorials may be made to the Pardee Cancer Fund or the family. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel 117 North East Street, St. Louis, MI 48880.
