Daniel Sabo

Daniel Lee Sabo, age 54, of Ovid, MI died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 A.M until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Elsie, Michigan.

Daniel was born in Owosso, Michigan on October 3, 1954, the son Stephen and Anna (Vanmeer) Sabo. He attended and graduated from Chesaning High School with the class of 1972, and resided most of his life in the Ovid area. He worked for Leer Corporation until their closing of the Elsie Plant, then began attending Jackson Community College and graduated with honors in computer technology. Daniel loved dogs, working outside and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by 2 daughters; Angela and Jason Kellogg of Owosso, MI, Roxanne Sabo of Saginaw, MI, 5 grandchildren; Jeremy, Alexander, Kaleb, Virginia, Sadie Sue, sister Susan Anderson, 2 brothers; Stephen Sabo Jr., Dennis and Carol Sabo, his children's mother Paula Gall. He was also survived by many friends, including Dorothy Nixon and Rick & Michelle LaLonde. He was predeceased by his parents and grandson, Dustin.
