Daniel Willard Wells, Jr.

     Daniel "Dan" Willard Wells Jr., born on February 15th, 1948, peacefully passed away on July 24, 2024.
     He is survived by his children: Johnathan (Christina) Mattimore, Connie (John) Winn, Carmen (Tracy) Haubenstricker, Cynthia (James) Bell, Daniel (Kelly) Mattimore, Dennis (Bobbi) Wells, and Cody (Michelle) Wells. Dan is also survived by his brother John Wells, his sister Beuhla Wells, and a large extended family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he adored. Dan was preceded in death by his beloved wife Valeria Wells, his father Daniel Wells, his mother Verna Potter, and his son Michael Wells.
     Dan proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged. His life was marked by a deep love for various interests including working on cars, driving semi-trucks, racing, off-roading, restoring classic cars, carpentry, and enjoying the outdoors. Dan was known for his resourcefulness and willingness to help others, particularly when it came to finding or fixing vehicles.
     His family and friends will remember him for his kindness, generosity, and passion for life. Dan's legacy will live on through the memories shared by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
