Darrell Max Aldrich

     Darrell M. “Mick” Aldrich, age 90, of Alma, MI, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, at Schnepp Health Care Center, St. Louis, MI.

     Mick was born in Brant, Michigan on September 7, 1932, the son of Viril and Lena (VanLuven) Aldrich.  He was a veteran and proudly served in Korea from 1953-1955.  Mick married Edith “Edie” Yelsik on October 13, 1956. In his earlier years, Mick enjoyed riding motorcycles; his easy going personality led him to become a favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews.  He was employed by Federal Mogul Corporation of St. Johns, retiring in 1995, after more than 30 years.

     Preceding Mick in death were his parents, his son Rod and his granddaughter Heather, along with several siblings.   Left to cherish many memories is his wife Edith “Edie”, his brother Darwin “Buck”, and his sisters: Carol Sweeney and Dianne Bennett.  Also surviving are one brother- in-law Dale Yelsik and his wife Dana.

      Per Mick's wishes, cremation has taken place; there will be no services.  Mick's family wishes to thank the entire staff at Schnepps for their kind and compassionate care.
