Darrell Lane

Darrell Lee Lane, age 53, of St. Johns, Michigan, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel, St. Johns, MI, on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Monday from 4 to time of service at 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Darrell was born in Owosso, Michigan on November 4, 1957, the son of Terry Anderson and Lila (Allert) Lane. He graduated from Corunna High School with the class of 1976. On May 1, 1982 he married Kathleen Goerge in Fowler, Michigan. He lived in Corunna for many years moving to St. Johns in 1993. When Darrell was able to work he enjoyed driving truck cross country.

Survivors include his wife Kathleen Lane of St. Johns, MI, 2 daughters; Andrea (Annie) Lane, Audrey Lane, 2 sons; Aaron Lane, Alex Lane all at home, granddaughter Hailee, and mother Lila Lane of Owosso, Michigan. He was predeceased by his father & step father.
