Daryl Pardee

Daryl Lee Pardee, age 69, of Henderson, MI passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 1:30 PM, Pastor Herb Wheelock will officiate. Burial will be held at West Haven Township Cemetery, Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 5-8 P.M. and on Friday, December 3, 2010 from 12:00 to 8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI.

Daryl was born in Owosso, Michigan on August 25, 1941, the son of Azle and Edna (Mitchell) Pardee. He resided most of his life in the Elsie area. On September 14, 1963 he married Kay Pincomb in Easton Church of Christ, Easton, Michigan. Daryl had worked at Buick in Flint with skilled trades for 36 years retiring in 2000. Daryl enjoyed the outdoors, riding dirt bikes, hunting and being in the woods. He loved being up north at the cabin in Roscommon, Michigan, and camping with his grandchildren who were the love of his life.

He is survived by his wife Kay Pardee of Henderson, MI, daughter Darylene and Fred Dick of St. Johns, MI, son Timothy and Shawn Pardee of Elsie, MI, 4 grandchildren; Samantha, Nathan, Ty, and Trace, 2 sisters; Janice Hodack, and Joyce Ring, and brother Wayne Pardee. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, 1 brother Girth, and 4 sisters; Madge, Gurnith, Faye, and Letha.
