David Bodary

David Andrew Bodary, age 65, of Owosso, MI passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Memorial Healthcare Center.

In accordance with Dave's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 10, 2009 from 4-8 P.M at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel, Corunna, MI.

David was born in Owosso, Michigan on January 7, 1944, the son of David Warren and Edith (Guyn) Bodary. He attended Owosso High School. Dave served his country in the U.S. Navy. He lived in Kentucky for a number of years, were he worked on a horse farm. He returned to the Owosso area in 1990. Dave worked for the Lear Corporation in Elsie before his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed taking care of his yard and flower garden. Dave was a friend to everyone that knew him.

He is survived by sister Sandra and Raymond Mehigh of Corunna, MI, brother Jeffrey and Patricia Bodary of Corunna, MI, 6 nieces and nephews; Kim and Lee Aho, Kevin and Lori Mehigh, Kurt and Amie Mehigh, Michael Mehigh, Kristy Bodary and Jennifer Bodary. He was predeceased by his parents and one son William Bodary.
