David Harrison

David Lee Harrison, age 66, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center - Gratiot, Alma.

In following David's wishes, a cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.

David was born in Alma, Michigan on July 31, 1954, the son of Hilton and Celeste Amparo (Paniagua) Harrison.  He graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1972 where he was on the wrestling team.

On September 13, 1980, David married Jo Ellen Flowers at the First United Methodist Church of St. Louis.  They celebrated their 40th anniversary last year.

David was a Boy Scout leader for over 20 years.  He enjoyed time with his grandchildren.  David loved people and was always willing to help in any way possible.  He has done taxes for over 30 years and worked for Nichols Financial for over 20 years, retiring in 2017.

David is survived by his wife Jo Ellen, daughter Stacy DeLong of Alma son Matthew (Megan) Harrison of Laingsburg, and 6 grandchildren: Lucas DeLong, Larissa DeLong, Logan DeLong, Landen DeLong, Liam Metzger, and Owen Harrison. He is also survived by one brother Bill (Kay) Harrison, 3 sisters: Esther Shipman, Olga Albert, and Irma Harrison; and many nieces and nephews.  David was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Al Harrison.
