David Oldfield “Dave” Lindsay age 87, of Alma, MI, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Masonic Pathways, Alma, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Louis Church of Christ, St. Louis, MI, on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 10:00 A.M., with Dr. Keith Wise officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Monday from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. at the church

Dave was born in Kokomo, IN on May 4, 1930 the son of Rolland S. and Bertha May (Mills) Lindsay.  He graduated from Wayne Memorial High School, Detroit, MI with the class of 1974 from night school.  On June 12, 1954 Dave married Mary L. Chase in Detroit, MI.

Dave worked for Unisys Systems and was the lead person there for 33 years. After retirement he worked for Smith Family Funeral Homes, Walmart, and was the custodian for St. Louis Church of Christ.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Right, Shrines, and he worked with the Red Cross. He was a member of St. Louis Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife Mary Lindsay; 2 sons: William and Michelle Lindsay; Peter and Marilyn Lindsay; 2 daughters: Bonnie Lindsay; Mary Susan and Matthew Stack and 12 grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents, infant son Robert Andrew, 1 sister, and 2 brothers.
