David Prichard

David Bruce Prichard, age 53, of Henderson, MI passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Sparrow Health Systems, Lansing, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 1:00 P.M., Pastor John James will officiate. Burial will take place at Fairfield Township Cemetery Fairfield, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 24, 2009 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.

David was born in Carson City, Michigan on August 31, 1955, the son of Leo and Laura (Schultz) Prichard. He was a 1974 graduate of Ovid-Elsie High School and resided most of his life in Ovid, Chapin & Howard City.

David worked as a Butcher for Sheldon's Packing House. He liked to work on small engines and anything that got his hands dirty. David also loved to fish, camp, ride his motorcycle and just be outdoors. His grandchildren were an important part of his life.

He is survived by daughter Pawanika and Chris Busch of Flint, MI, daughter Jennifer Prichard of Owosso, MI, son Robert Prichard and daughter Jessica Prichard both of Henderson, MI, 7 grandchildren; Christopher &, Brennon Busch, Caitlyn Prichard, Jordan & Nicholas Coggins, Kelly Bullard, and Paige Hart, sister Elaine Space of Lake George, MI, and brother Frank and Nancy Dukes of Ovid, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; William, Orin & Lowell and 2 sisters; Josephine & Linda.
