David Michael Remenar

      David Michael "Dave" Remenar, age 78, of Elsie, MI, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at The Willows of East Lansing, East Lansing, MI.
      In following Dave's wishes, a cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
      David was born in St. Johns, Michigan on September 27, 1946, the son of Julius John and Ann Mary (Vojvodich) Remenar. He graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1965. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1965-1969.
      Dave was a talented craftsman. He had a passion for designing and building one-of-a-kind wood projects. He loved his farm and spending time there working on his projects. He was very creative and envisioned many plans to make the farm self-sufficient. Dave always looked forward to time with his friends and going to "Camp" in the UP.
      He is survived by four siblings: Frank Remenar, Agnes (Malcolm) Smith, Annie Mikulka, and Rosemary (Bruce) Thelen; sister-in-law Margaret Remenar, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Julius Paul Remenar Jr., and sister-in-law Jane Remenar.
