On December 9, 2020 after a lengthy illness, David Noel Rich Sr., of St. Louis, MI passed from this earth to find his eternal fishing hole.

He was born on December 25, 1948, the son of Robert E and Betty J (Bickle) Rich.  David was husband to Connie, who he married on October 2, 1971 and father to Crystal and David, Jr.

He had served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam in 1969. Prior to his retirement in 2003, he was a lifelong member of Carpenter’s Union 706 and was intensely proud of the many bridges he helped build across the state of Michigan. David’s hobbies included woodworking, camping, playing games with family, and fishing at both Rose Lake for bluegills in the summer and the Platte River for salmon in the fall.  David is survived by his wife of 49 years Connie, his daughter Crystal Rich and his son David Rich Jr. He had many in-laws, nieces, and nephews that will miss him as well. He was predeceased by his parents mentioned above, sister Patricia Hill, brothers Richard and Robert (Jim), and son Mark Dalen Rich.

David will be laid to rest in a private service with his immediate family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced by the family.
