David Leon Robbe, age 61, of Ithaca, MI passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Sparrow Health Systems, Lansing, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, MI on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Thomas Bradley and Mr. Joe Robbe officiating.  Burial will take place at North Star Cemetery, North Star, MI.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, MI and on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 2-8 P.M. with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

David was born in St. Johns, Michigan on May 5, 1954, the son of George and Doris (Mitchell) Robbe.  He graduated from Ashley High School with the class of 1972. David married Linda Losee on March 8, 1975 at Edgewood Church of God.  David and his brother James were partners in Robbe Brothers Hoof Trimming.  David enjoyed riding his Harley with the Soggy Bottom Boys. He loved listening to music and watching the Waltons.  David was a sports enthusiast; his favorite teams were the Detroit Tigers and the Michigan State Spartans.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Linda Robbe, son Jason Robbe (Jessica), daughter Autumn and Khris Nevins, grandchildren; Elizabeth and Landon Nevins, and Reese Robbe, step grandchildren; James and Deonta Nevins, step great grandchild Naomi, honorary children; Erik, Nathan, and Mackenzie Falk, honorary grandchildren; Cade, Jace and Maddie Symonds, sister Patricia and Mike Smith of Ithaca, MI, brothers; Robert Robbe of Perrinton, MI, Joseph and Nancyanne Robbe of Portland, MI, Rodney Robbe of Albion, MI, and Richard and Sheila Robbe of St. Johns, MI. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents George and Doris Robbe, parent in laws Charles and Barbara Losee, brother Jim Robbe, and sister in law Nancy Follett.
