David Youngs

David E. Youngs, age 77, of Leota, Michigan died Wednesday, March 2, 2011.

David's wishes were to be cremated with private family services at a later date.

David was born in Lansing, Michigan on March 1, 1934, the son of Carl A. and Fleda M. (Carr) Youngs. David served his country as a Cpl. in the U.S. Marines.

He is survived by his sister Diane Harger of St. Johns, nieces and nephews; David and Dolores Tompkins of St. Johns, Gordon and Tina Tompkins of Lansing, Michael Tompkins of St. Johns, Traci and Darrell Deering of St. Johns, Daniel and Tammy Harger of Tennessee, Eric and Terri Harger of St. Johns, Holly and John Noble of Florida, Sharon and Gordon Willett of Coral, Michigan and Christine Cunningham of Lansing, and many great nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents and one niece, Diane Decatur.

The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Johns Chapel St. Johns, Michigan.
