Dayton was born in Alma, Michigan on August 23, 2008, the son of James Robert Cowdrey and Tirany Lee (Hunt) Savage.
Dayton had a love for animals his entire life. His rescue animals Khaleesi, Cocoa and Loki were very close to his heart. He loved spending time outdoors with family playing ball, riding quads, and dirt bikes. Dayton also enjoyed fishing, sledding, and mushroom hunting. He liked riding along side with his dad and grandpas as they drove semi-trucks and tractors. Dayton was your typical teenager who enjoyed playing video games. He was a kind loving, blue-eyed boy who loved his family with all of his heart.
He is survived by his father James "Jimmy" Cowdrey, grandparents: Mark and Karrol Cowdrey, Darryl and Pam Fowler, and Mark Hunt, uncles: Blaine Cowdrey, Aaron Fowler, Lance Fowler, and Mark Hunt, aunts: Sara Cowdrey and Secrett Hunt, and great-grandmother Rosalie Hansen. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Tirany Savage, one grandmother Kim Ebright, and great-grandparents: Ken and Margaret Parks and Bob and Barb Cowdrey.
