Dayton was born in Winchester, KY on October 7, 2010, the son of Andrew Joseph and Rebecca Grace (Neifer) Skriba.
Dayton was a very loving and caring young man with a big heart. He loved computer games. He was very creative and imaginative in making crafts. He loved to play with his dog Yonder. He enjoyed Coca-Cola, seafood, time in the woods and morel hunting. He liked hunting, playing with his brother and cousins, and pulling pranks on his parents and other family members. Most of all, Dayton loved God and was full of questions about faith.
Dayton is survived by his parents Andrew and Rebecca Skriba, brother Darrin John Skriba, grandparents: Gary Skriba, Sherry (Robert) Burns, Donna (Phil) Floate and John (Jill) Neifer; and great-grandparents: Robert (Helen) Skriba, Arthur (Frances) Stampfly and Janet Nott. He is also survived by aunts and uncles: Nathaniel Neifer, Sarah Floate, Katie Floate, Tim (Tiffany) Floate, Justin Floate, Josie Neifer, Josh Neifer, Ashley Skriba, Annie (Tim) Smith, and Alec Burns; and many cousins. Dayton was preceded in death by great-grandparents: Charlene Skriba, James and Mary Ewing, John W. Neifer Sr., and Rolland (Donna) Stampfly; aunt Elizabeth C. Neifer, and great-uncle Matthew Skriba.
As Dayton would say, "Tostrle Zotis!" (Don’t Judge!)
