Dean "Jack" Cunningham age 73 of Owosso, Michigan died Friday, February 18, 2005 at his home.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 from 9-11 A.M. at the funeral home. Rev. Bernie Cowles & Rev. Reginald Adkins will officiate.
Dean was born in Owosso Township, Michigan on August 26, 1931 the son of Albert & Viola A. (Williams) Cunningham. He resided most of his life in the Owosso Area. Dean married Mable F. Cowles on August 28, 1949 in Owosso, Michigan. He was retired from Spartan Asphalt. He worked there as a Gravel Train Driver.
He attended Gilead Baptist Church of Owosso, Michigan and was a lifetime member of the Owosso VFW #9455.
He is survived by his wife Mable F. Cunningham of Owosso, MI, son Dean Jackson & Rita Cunningham Jr. of Chapin, MI, son Joseph Verne Cunningham & Pat of Ludington, MI, 14 grandchildren; Tom & Tina Limbaugh, Penny & Jay Springer, Sean & Julie Friess, Jennifer & David Kasten, Kipp Friess & Nicole, Erin Schaub, Douglas Voris, Crystal Rees, Jacob & Christel Deering, Dean Jackson Cunningham III, Amanda Cunningham, Amber Cunningham, Christopher Cunningham, Wesley Cunningham, 9 great grandchildren; Miranda & Bradley Limbaugh, Jason & Cody Springer, Alex & Summer Friess, Jasmine & Enoch Kasten, & Makenzie Friess, brother Bert A. Cunningham of Owosso, MI, and numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, 1 daughter Viola Jean Cunningham (Friess), 4 brothers, & 2 sisters.
Memorials may be made to the family in lieu of flowers. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
